As part of @kinstructures nine month Arts and Culture programme at Orchard Gardens Community Centre, Maia was invited to co-create a project with residents of Orchard Gardens Estate. Collecting recipes from the residents was the starting point for a community cookbook zine compiled and designed by Maia, which sought to archive the recipes and stories told. Each participant received a copy of the community cookbook and were invited for a community meal at the centre, which was made in collaboration with Maia and cook Diva Garg, celebrating a selection of the dishes that were included in the zine.
