Mana’ was a series of inkjet photographic images and a moving-image piece made under the same name. These works draw from Polynesian cosmology and the concept of mana, or the life force known to permeate all living things, a concept that is understood cross-culturally, as Prana in Hindu cosmology, or as animism in western philosophy.
